Arthur B. Reeve (born October 15, 1880, died August 9, 1936, original name: Arthur Benjamin Reeve, graduate of Princeton and New York Law School, best known for creating the series character Professor Craig Kennedy, sometimes called "The American Sherlock Holmes." 18 mystery/detective novels with series characters Professor Craig Kennedy and his Dr.Watson-like sidekick Walter Jameson (newspaper reporter).
