Mildred Aldrich

Mildred Aldrich (1853-February 19, 1928) was an American journalist and writer.

She was born in Providence, Rhode Island.

She began her career as a journalist in Boston.

In 1898, she moved to France, and, while there, became a friend of Gertrude Stein.

During the First World War Aldrich wrote some books that were published back in the United States, based on her experiences in war-torn Europe.
